Down to the wire...

Well, here we are... just about at the end.

Here's what 30 days of growth (and some prenatals) will get you!

:)

You really get a feel for the swirl in this picture!

And so it begins!

Movember is here!!!

This will be hubby's fourth year participating in Movember (it was "Moustache March back in 2008) and here's a look back at his past looks:

Here's a pic of Hubby clean shaven on Day 1 (November 1st)

He takes this very seriously.

And here's a nice video on Movember for this year!

Check back in a few days when Hubby has updated his Mo Space page!

Let the grooming begin!

Dec. 5th - The End...

We are here in New York and having a great time!

In fact, the moustache is having such a good time...

that it has decided to stay in New York!

Oh well...

Until next November!

Workin' Hard...

Well... I know we're officially out of November but,

Hubby likes his moustache so much that he won't shave it off!

Here he is in his data center...

Workin' hard...

Day 21: Ski Sweater & 'Stache...

Hubby's lookin' pretty spiffy here, on our way to church...

He groomed his 'stache and he's got his wintery '70s sweater on...

Lookin' good, eh?

Lookin' good for the Lord...

;-)

Day 20: Crib

Hubby built our crib today...

And he tested it by sitting in it...
This is what our baby will look like...

with a moustache.

Day 18: It's cold in our house!

As you know, hubby does not like to spend money turn on the heater.

So it's freezing cold in our tile house.

Good thing he has his hat and his facial hair!  ;-)

Day 15: Half-Way Mark!

We're already at the half-way point!  Can you believe it!

Here are some 'artistic' shots of hubby and his admiring our art...

He's very pensive...

Look at that!  15 days of 'stache!

I love how red it is!

(it is my favorite color...)

Construction Moustache Man!!!

This here is Construction Moustache Man...

Hubby's doing some work on our house and Thank God he has his moustache to help him get into character!

It really helps him work better.

Look at these action shots!

He's really working hard there, sawing that wood in half!

Grrrr!  Tough!

 A man and his man-tools...

Whew!  Strong!

Hubby was thinking of shaping this year's moustache into a cowboy moustache
(`a la Yosemite Sam), but maybe this is meant to be!

:)

Day 7: Caterpillar/Pencil 'stache...

Here's hubby's growth progress 7 days later...

Lookin' good, huh?

He says it's in its "Caterpillar" or "Pencil" Stage.

It's definitely on it's way to becoming full and fun, though.

And yes, it is most itchy and prickly...

;-)

Day 1: Movember is here!!!

It's that time again!  Movember is upon us.

This is hubby's third year participating in Movember ("Moustache March" back in 2008) and this year, he's really taking it seriously.

He's been taking my prenatal pills since October 1st in hopes of faster hair growth and he grew a 'test-run' moustache for the past month.

He shaved it off late Sunday night (fortunately he was able to use this practice 'stache for his Halloween costume) after a fun night out.

Here he is!  Day 1 - clean shaven!

He has 30 days to grow his moustache in support of Prostate Cancer Awareness.

Cheer him on and check back for hair growth status!
And Style Status, as well...

We'll see what kinda shape he takes on this year.

He does have a "Mo Space" as well...

:)

Happy Halloween!

It's that time of year again!

Tomorrow is November 1st and so begins "Movember".

Again this year, they are raising funds to benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Tonight, at midnight, Hubby will shave off any and all facial hair to have a fresh start on November 1st!

He decided to do a practice run (a pre-facial test) and he has actually been taking MY prenatal pills to see if his facial hair will grow any faster.

And since today is Halloween, he conveniently had a nice full moustache for his "Nascar Fanatic" costume:
 Lookin' good, huh?

He actually won a prize for going to work like this... :)

He took the 'stache to the beach on Saturday to work on its tan...

The End!

Well... it's done.  The 'stache is gone.

Thanks to everyone who participated and contributed!

It seems that hubby's company was able to raise a nice bit of money for Prostate Cancer research!

Good job guys! (and gals.. yes, some gals participated too!)

As for hubby's face, things are back to normal and hubby is clean shaven once again.

YAY!

No more itchy-scratchy!

No more references to Castro, Laguna, Long Beach or Scary Vans with no windows.

To those who donated, he'll be in contact soon with the next step in the donation process!

Goodbye, happy lil guy.  Until next year!

(I love that the mustache has a mustache!)

Field Trip!

We took the Moustache on a field trip to Costco today!

As you know, hubby LOVES all things Industrial.

Which means he loves Costco!

Well, when our good friend Sho told us that there's a Costco in L.A. that's specific to industrial restaurant equipment, we knew we had to go.

Let me just say, hubby was in heaven!!!

He was so excited to see this huge 'church coffee' dispenser.
We could serve our whole neighborhood coffee!

I can't tell you how long hubby has been trying to get me to OK having a Dry Erase Board in our spare room (A.K.A. - "The Data Center")

The answer is still No.

Hubby said he wants to buy this for me for my Christmas gift.
So I'll mop better...

He also feels we need this deep fryer...

A Happy Hubby...

Have you ever seen a happier guy...  He's so cozy!

However, he wasn't so happy a few nights ago...

As you know, turning on the heater is a 'No-No' in this house.

Well, since he was in Mountain View all last week for work, I decided to kick on the heater for a few minutes each morning.

(Um, it was like 62 degrees one morning when I woke up...)

Well of course, the day he came home was the one day I forgot to turn OFF the heater...

He got home Thursday night at about 9p and we had no sooner gotten cozy in bed when I heard the heater KICK ON!!!

So naturally, I asked, "Oh... Did you turn the heater on?"

(** halo appears above my head **)

0:-)

I was pretty much busted.

He wasn't very happy.

It's safe to say he looked like this:

(blowing a gasket...)
